Q. How is the personalization / etching added to the bricks or stones?
A. We use a process that uses a “mask” to create your permanent inscription. The open areas of the mask are blasted with aluminum oxide to create letter depth. Color is then added to the paver to provide a contrasted look.

Q. How will the brick be delivered to the jobsite?
A. Your completed brick will be transported with all the other personalized bricks for this project directly to the Friends of Watsonville Parks and Community Services jobsite for installation.

Q. Can I have a logo, special graphic, or font added to the etching design?
A. No, the architects and project planners have created a uniformed design using only a specific font to achieve a unique and comfortable look and feel to the Friends of Watsonville Parks and Community Services project.

Q. Can I adjust my design after placing the order?
A. Yes. You can adjust your design through the proofing process if necessary. Once approved the brick will go into production. We will be etching each paver on a per order basis as the orders are approved. No changes are possible once approved. Review your proofs carefully to ensure proper spelling and spacing.

Q. Can I see how the brick will look before etching?
A. Yes. After completing your online order Etched In Stone will create a proof for your approval which will sent to you via email.

Q. Can I determine where my brick will be placed?
A. The location of your brick will be determined by the installers and will be based on what works best for the overall design concept.
